Warsaw defeated the Portage varsity boys basketball team on Saturday night in the Champions of Character Classic at Grace College. The Indians played a solid defensive game but on offense they suffered through a poor shooting night. Leading the Indians in scoring was Lawrence Harris with 9 points followed by Jaelon Hollies 6, Jaylin King and Kamari Slaughter 5 each, Jorryn Junigan 4 and Nate Orosz 3. The Indians will host Highland on Tuesday night in their first home game of the season.
