The Indians finished off the regular season with a very close loss to the Trojans, making their dual season record 5-4. Shelby Conrad and Payton Peele lead the Indians to their 108.7 team score. Conrad posted her highest all around score of the season, placing third with a 36.2. She also placed third on vault with a 9.1 and on bars with a 9.05, and second on floor (9.45). Peele scored a 36.5, taking second place in all around, as well as on vault (9.3) and beam (9.45). She tied for third on floor, with Wrigley Barcelli, with the score of 9.25. Barcelli also placed fourth on vault with a 9.05. Maggie Underwood was the second bar score for the Indians with an 8.85, and also posted an 8.85 on floor. Taylor Pusateri had a great beam day, scoring a season high 8.85 and an 8.75 on floor. Jenna Cruz scored an 8.7 on floor and finished off beam for the Indians with an 8.4. Post season will begin for the Indians at the DAC Championship on Saturday, February 20th. The girls will travel to Chesterton for the next two Saturdays, competing in the sectional meet on the 27th as well. Regionals will be held at Portage High School on March 6th.
