The girls cross country team qualified for the IHSAA state finals by placing 4th at the New Prairie semi state on Saturday. The team had great efforts from all seven runners. Leading the team were Morgan McCulloch in 16th and Kaitlyn Mackovyak in 18th both were All semi state performers and just missed personal records. Also contributing to the team effort were Brisa Martinez in 33rd and a personal record, Emilee Craigin in 54th and a personal record, Anna Timm in 81st and a personal record, Soraya Loubriel in 85th and Amanda Purnick in 137th. The team will compete in the IHSAA state finals on Saturday at the Lavern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute. This will be the programs 20th team state finals appearance.
