The boys track team finished second at the DAC meet and will end up second overall in the Duneland Athletic Conference. There were plenty of strong performances and personal bests from the Indians. Trey Sebben was a DAC Champion in both hurdle races and broke a 15 year old conference record in the 110 hurdles. The 4×100 relay team of Sebben, Jakar Gordon, Jaivon Gordon, and Myles Sisco also finished first place, and also set a new conference record. In the 100 m dash, Jaivon Gordon finished as runner-up, while Myles Sisco was a runner up in the 200 m dash. Andrew Doctor finished 3rd in the 800 m run and Tylee Swopes finished 3rd in the 300 m hurdles. In the field events, Blaine Goetz finished 3rd in the pole vault, Brandon English set a PR and finished runner up in the shot put, while Aaron Parrett finished runner up in the discus and also set a personal best. Humberto Morales also placed in both throws. The Indians run again next week at the IHSAA Sectional at Portage.
