The boys track team started their outdoor season off with a pair of wins, defeating Lake Central 73-59 and Valparaiso 79-53. The Red Indians swept the 100 m dash, with Myles Sisco winning while Jaivon Gordon was 2nd, and Zack Warchus was third. Trey Sebben won the 110 m hurdles and the 300 m hurdles. Jordan Warner was third in the 110 m hurdles. Nate Fisher finished third in the 400 m dash while Ryan McCaslin was 4th. The Indians swept the 200 m dash, with Jaivon Gordon finishing first, Sisco second, and Jakar Gordon third. Tommy Elwood won the 3200 m run. Zack Warchus was a winner in the long jump with a jump of 21 feet 7 inches. Piere Hill was third in long jump. Tylee Swopes was third in the 300 m hurdles. Blaine Goetz finished third in the pole vault. Aaron Parrett won the discus with a heave of 142 ft 1 inch while Humberto Morales was second. Brandon English won the shot put throwing over 52 feet. The 4×100 m relay team of Trey Sebben, Jaivon Gordon, Myles Sisco, and Jakar Gordon also was victorious. The Indians return to action Saturday when they travel down to Indianapolis to run in the Ben Davis relays.
