The boys track team defeated Michigan City 109-19 on Tuesday night. There were plenty of bright spots for the Indians. Jaivon Gordon, Jakar Gordon, and Zack Warchus swept the 100 m dash. Trey Sebben, Jakar Gordon, and Aaron Parrett swept the 200. Ryan McCaslin won the 400 m dash while Nate Fisher was second and Jaivon Gordon was third. Tommy Elwood, Andrew Doctor, and Arturo Perez swept the 800 m run while Elwood, Doctor, and Raphael Maier swept the 1600 m run. Brandon Warren finished 2nd in the 3200 while Nathan Shaffer was third. Trey Sebben, Jordan Warner, and Tylee Swopes swept the 110 m hurdles. Sebben, Swopes, and Juan Torres swept the 300 m hurdles. The 4×100 relay team of Sebben, Jaivon Gordon, Jakar Gordon, and Myles Sisco won, as did the 4×400 relay team of Zack Warchus, Nate Fisher, Ryan McCaslin, and Daniel Goshay. The 4×800 relay team of Ty Doepping, Kyle Baugh, Brandon Warren, and Gavin Schaeffer finished first. Fisher, Jordan Warner, and Juan Torres swept the high jump. Blaine Goetz won the pole vault and Zach Warchus won the long jump. Brandon English finished second in the shot put and Aaron Parret was second in discus and Brandon English was third. The Indians return to action Saturday at the West Lafayette relays.
