Wrestlers Win Regional Meet!

PHS Wrestlers win the Wrestling Regional on Saturday, Feb. 7th at Calumet High School.  They placed eight wrestlers in the championship round with two winning regional titles.  Tyler Joseph and Braden Majewski both won their matches to claim titles.  The Indians captured first place with 186 points.  Merrillville placed second with Hobart following in third.

Wrestlers Take Sectional Crown

Portage wrestlers took the Calumet Sectional crown on Saturday, Jan. 31st.  They placed 13 out of 14 wrestlers in the championship match.  Eight of those wrestlers came out with Sectional titles.  Those wrestlers were Gaige Torres, Tyler Joseph, Steven Lawrence, Kasper McIntosh, Ismael Cornejo, Davin Gonzalez, Alex Guerrero, and Braden Majewski.  Portage scored 308 points
